Where Orin goes deeper
AI that reads your order email, and shows its work
Order emails arrive with a PDF attached and someone types them over. Orin reads the body and the attachments, creates a draft shipment, and shows where every value came from, so your dispatcher confirms instead of retypes.
- Around 26 fields extracted per order: addresses, dates and time windows, references, goods lines with weight and loading metres, per-stop contacts and gate instructions, agreed price and currency, each with its own confidence score.
- Every field links back to where it was read: the line in the e-mail, or the page in the PDF. The original and the extraction open side by side so you check one against the other.
- It learns per customer. Each confirmation is stored as an example and fed into the next extraction for your account: your corrections, your data, never shared with other companies.
- The same engine reads incoming carrier invoices and signed PODs: lines matched to the trip and differences flagged before you pay, references and signatures pulled off delivery notes with nothing to re-type.

- Cost and revenue lines priced automatically from versioned rate templates (flat, tiered, zone-matrix and percentage) with your manual edits preserved when prices are refreshed.
- Tolls calculated per route and per country (German Maut, Dutch Vrachtwagenheffing) priced from a weight-band and CO₂-class grid rather than a rough estimate, then distributed from the trip down to each shipment on it: provisional while you plan, finalised when the trip completes.
- Per-leg and per-department margin on multi-carrier and cross-department trips, with internal transfers so each department's P&L is right.
- Carrier invoices matched automatically against the trip and its cost lines, with variances and duplicates flagged, disputes tracked, and credit control before execution.
From completed shipment to invoice
One step from a finished trip to an invoice, in the electronic format the receiving country requires, with the VAT treatment worked out for you.
- Six EN16931 formats live today: UBL / Peppol BIS 3.0, German XRechnung, Italian FatturaPA, French Chorus Pro, Spanish VeriFactu and Portuguese ATCUD.
- VAT determined automatically (standard, reverse charge, zero, exempt or outside scope) from seller and buyer country and VAT status, with the correct category code and mandatory legal text on the export.
- Customer VAT numbers validated live against the EU VIES registry, because an intra-EU reverse charge is only valid with a verified ID.
- Per-entity branding and numbering, credit notes, multi-currency with historical rates, and an optional double-entry ledger with an AFAS Profit connector.
The driver app, and the proof it brings back
A web app that works on any phone, with nothing to install and no app store account. The driver works the stops and the evidence lands against the right load in seconds.
- Stop-by-stop execution with navigation, arrival and departure marking, and exception reporting when a delivery fails.
- Proof of delivery as photos and a signature (timestamped and located) plus CMR signing at pickup and delivery with damage and shortage reservations.
- Offline-first: the driver keeps working with no signal, and the queue syncs automatically on reconnect.
- Login is a company code or phone number plus a PIN: no app-store account, no passwords to reset. Available in eight driver languages.

What Orin is not: a freight marketplace or load board, a telematics/GPS hardware platform, or a full warehouse management system (it has cross-dock, not a full WMS).
